Early Life
Miles Parks McCollum or more popularly known as Lil Yachty was born on the 23rd of August 1997 in Mableton, Georgia. While growing up, he was inspired by his father’s taste in an assortment of music which made him listen to genres that broke the norms.
He went to Pebblebrook Highschool while also working at McDonald’s to support himself. While still in school, it was reported that he routinely harassed, bullied, and teased which made his highschool life quite difficult.

The rapper rose to fame in 2015 when his song on Soundcloud called “One Night” was used in a viral comedy video.
