Morgan Freeman was born on June 1, 1937, in Memphis, Tennessee. Morgan is the youngest among his four siblings. His parents were not wealthy and struggled for a living. They frequently traveled to earn, and they finally settled in Chicago.

As a child, Morgan Freeman admired actors like Gary Cooper, Spencer Tracy, etc. When he was nine years and went to school, he joined acting and, at the age of 12, won a drama competition in Greenwood. He was good at acting, but he decided to become an air force pilot. He did not become a pilot and fly himself but was appointed to the ground radar work.
