My Hero Academia Early Seasons 1-4

The anime tells the story of the main character named ‘Izuku Midoriya’ or ‘Deku’, who was a boy in a world where superpowers and heroes exist, he was born without powers. These unique abilities are called ‘Quirks’, and even though he doesn’t have any abilities, Deku always dreamt of becoming a superhero.

After one fateful event, the world’s strongest hero ‘All Might’, saw Deku’s potential and made him the successor of his quirk. All Might shared his quirk with Deku and helped him with his enrollment in the prestigious high school where heroes train.

Before we dive into the fifth season of the anime series, let us do a quick recap on the first four seasons. This will give us good insight into what to expect in the future events of the series.

In the first season, it was the fateful meet-up of All Might and Deku. He received All Might’s quirk and was able to attend the U.A. High School for heroes in training. He and his classmate trained as they fought the League of Villains.

In the second season, the school hosted a tournament event during its Sports Festival, while the Thrilling Hero Killer was slowly introduced and featured. During this season, the students explored more of their abilities and did an intense match-up with their teachers.

In the third season, the story takes place before their training camp where Deku, Iida, Todoroki, Bokugo, Asui, and Uraraka, have been tasked to defeat a villain. The U.A. Class 1-A overwhelmed the adversity and Deku beat Muscular.

In the fourth season, the characters Ochaco, Tsuyu, Eijiro, Izuku, Nejire, Tamaki, and Mirio participate in a Job Study on a Hero Agency and the Shie Hassaikai Raid. During this time, Shoto and Katsuki participated in the Provincial License Remedial Course.

My Hero Academia 5 Plot

The story of the fifth season will continue where the fourth season has left. The season four finale left us with Deku’s Start of embracing and becoming the new user of his quirk ‘One for All’.

In the fifth season, the rivalry between classes 1A and 1B intensifies, and the plot will primarily revolve around the ‘Joint Training Arc’.

Season 5 has already released three of its episodes. In the first episode, Class 1-A went on a training mission to battle against hypothetical enemies, where the big three students played the role of a villain and Mirio played the role of a civilian in distress as he was recovering from his injuries. Endeavor has been thinking about his battle with Dabi and it is shown that Hawks meets up with Dabi in a warehouse.

In the season five, second episode, Dabi attacks Endeavor and Hawks but immediately escapes when Mirko arrives. With their conversation in the warehouse, Dabi pointed out that Hawks will have to wait before he can meet up with Shigaraki. This episode shows Hawk’s determination into making a world where heroes have some free time by joining in the League of Villains and attack them from the inside. Endeavor realizes the importance of forgiveness from his family and atones for all his wrongdoings and decisions. Deku, after a long training day, had a dream of the ancestors of ‘All for One.

The third episode tells the story of Deku telling All Might about his dream and understanding that from this moment onward, all the previous holders of the quirk now live within his quirk. Continuing the competition between class 1A and 1B, they were divided into groups for a 4 against 4 matches.

Since season five is still ongoing, we have more to expect in the storyline such as the complicated relationship of Endeavor’s family, the new ‘Symbol of Peace’ will most likely be redefined, and Deku’s acceptance and improvement with his ‘One for All’ quirk.

Nevertheless, most of the fans are excited to see the progress of every character as they grew in every season. The mystery of the villains continues and more questions still need to be answered.
