Snow White with the Red Hair is a romantic fantasy series written and illustrated by Sorata Akizuki. It is a Japanese series known as ‘Akagami no Shirayuki-hime’ in Japanese.
Based on a manga of the same name, this fantasy series was first published on August 10, 2006. After a decade of publication, the manga was picked for an anime television series. The first season of the show premiered in July 2015.

- Mitsuhide Rouen: He is one of the closest and most loyal aides. Crown Prince Izana appointed him to keep an eye on Zen. Mitsuhide accompanied Zen to his adventure and misadventure since the young prince was only 17 years old. He was not just his guardian but also his friend. Mitsuhide was also a skilled swordsman, honest, outgoing and caring like Zen.
- Kiki Seiran: He is another close aide of Zen, and he is a skilled swordsman and has a good friendship with Mitsuhide. Both Kiki and Mitsuhide recognize the attraction of Zen towards Shirayuki. Kiki has a fun-loving personality, but she also becomes cold toward troublemakers. In the show, it could also be later that she reveals to become the aide of Zen for six years.

Snow White With the Red Hair is a romantic anime series that revolves around the life of Shirayuki and her love and relationship with Prince Zen. She has red hair, which is her unique physical trait. Her beautiful features were noticed by the Prince Raj of Tanbarun, who asked her to be his concubine later in the show.
For this reason, she succeeds in escaping the kingdom Clarines where she encounters Prince Zen. Zen helps her to get out of the problem of the concubine proposal of Prince Raj. She then decides to move to Clarines, and there she becomes a court herbalist. Zen and Shirayuki fall in love with each other despite seeing the difference in social status.
Snow White with Red Hair is an ongoing series, and so far, its 24 manga volumes have been published. Studio BONES adapted the manga in 2015 and converted it into an anime, containing two seasons with 12 episodes of each. It also gained the license with subbed and dubbed versions by Funimation.

The series was popular among fans, but there is no official announcement yet for Snow White with Season 3. The lack of continuity is that the OVA and the first two seasons couldn’t make enough profit from DVD sales and Blue-ray.
Another reason is that the famous studio BONES started focusing on producing the other popular series, such as Bungo Stray Dogs Hero Academia, which eventually sided away from Snow White with the Red Hair.

What is the Expected Plot of ‘Snow White and the Red Hair’ Season 3?
If season 3 of ‘Snow White with the Red Hair’ comes, it will continue the story from the end of season 2. The new season will show the story of Shirayuki’s journey in the Kingdom of Clarines. The Ryuu and Shirayuki will research and discover new herbs in the Scholar District, well known for their knowledge because people share and collect data about the herbs.
During this, it is believed that Shirayuki will see Prince Izana and remember her first meeting with him, where he asked about her relationship with Zen. On the other hand, the next arc reveals about Zen that he goes to his chamber after work and recalls the touch of Shirayuki and misses her badly. And in the meantime, he received news from someone that influenced him to leave for the northern territory.
