Diabolik Lovers Short Recap
The story revolves around a high school girl named Yui Komori. Her father sent her to a secluded mansion in a new town because of his new work as a priest.
Upon arriving at the mansion, Komori was confused about how the house appeared to be abandoned because nobody greeted her as she arrived.
As Komori tries to look for a person to show her around the house, she finds a young man sleeping on the couch.
After trying to wake him up, she found out that the man does not have a heartbeat. She was shocked, resulting in her waking up the guy. After that scene, five other young men slowly appeared before her.
Soon, Komori discovered that all of them are vampires and are brothers from various mothers. The guys are confused as to why she was at their house. However, they realize later that she is their new sacrificial bride.
Komori started to ask herself why her father sent her to the mansion and why she began to feel strange. This is where she started her life as a captive.
During her stay in the mansion, Komori learned the various personalities of the brothers. As the days went by, she started to get close to all of them.
Diabolik Lovers Season 3 Release Date
The second season of Diabolik Lovers, titled “Diabolik Lovers 2: More Blood”, was released on September 24, 2015. The final episode of the season was released on December 10, 2015.
While a lot of time has passed since then, there is no news about whether or not they’re going to release the third season of the series.
Though it might appear discouraging, you should still hope for it. The reason for this is that there is still a lot of source material for season 3.

Diabolik Lovers Season 3 Renewal Status
As mentioned earlier, Diabolik Lovers season 1 was released in 2013 and the second season was released 2 years later in 2015.
Since then, there has not been any word on whether the creators will renew the show. Unfortunately, this usually happens in the anime industry.
Even though the first season of the show did not receive positive ratings, executives still chose to give Diabolik Lovers another season.
