He is deeply appreciative of art and antiques and is also a former FBI agent. Lexi Veziri is a smart thief. They pair up under unknown circumstances to track down dangerous criminals and terrorists.
Season 1 is based on their growing fondness for each other. Their relationship is explored simply and delicately. It is also appreciative of how they manage to stick together despite the circumstances. Season 1 is full of romance which is an excellent buffer for the action. The relationship between Danny and Lexi is not the smoothest, but they manage to make the best of it anyway.
Season 2 would likely be built on similar guidelines. Fans might see some serious advancements in the relationship between Danny and Lexi. More action and adventure is yet to come.

Blood and Treasure are about an unconventional duo- Danny and Lexi. Danny, a former FBI agent, comes together with an efficient art thief named ‘Lexi’. They are in pursuit of a terrorist named Karim Farouk. The interesting thing about Karim is that he has an extremely sleek method of operation. He steals and sells rare artifacts. The money he gains goes into funding his terrorist activities.
Season one leads Danny and Lexi into a 2000-year-old battle for the ‘cradle of civilization’. It is also revealed that Danny and Lexi need to find the tomb of Egyptian queen Cleopatra.
One can expect similar action and adventure in season 2. Season 1 has set a high bar, because of which people have more and more expectations from season 2. Viewers are likely to learn more about the relationship between Danny and Lexi.

- Matt Barr as Danny McNamara– Matt Barr plays the role of Danny McNamara. He is a former FBI agent who also has interests in art and antiques. He pairs with Lexi Vaziri to hunt down a ruthless criminal.
Matt Jerome Barr is an American born actor. He is known for his incredible performance in Hatfields and McCoys. He also played Mike Fleming in Commander in Chief, Ian Banks in One Tree Hill, and Christopher Sullivan in Harper’s Island.
- Sofia Pernas as Lexi Vaziri– Sofia Pernas plays the role of a cunning con artist. She has had many traumatic experiences in her past. But despite that, she manages to join hands with Danny to chase Karim Farouk. Later it is revealed that Lexi’s mother could be a descent from Cleopatra.
Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan- American actress who has made her mark through her work in The Brave and Blood and Treasure. She has also been a part of ‘the Young and the Restless’ and ‘Jane the Virgin’.
- James Callis as Simon Hardwick– James Callis plays the role of Simon Hardwick. He was kidnapped by Farouk’s men and held hostage. Danny manages to save him somehow. But the truth is something way different. Simon Hardwick is a character with multiple layers. Making assumptions about him is only stupid.
James Callis is an English actor. He has played the part of Bridget Jone’s best friend Tom in the evergreen Bridget Jones’s Diary, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and Bridget Jones’s Baby. He was also a part of the Syfy show- Eureka in 2010.
- Oded Fehr as Karim Farouk– Oded Fehr plays the role of a prominent Egyptian terrorist- Karim Farouk. He is a strong personality who deals with artifacts. He uses this money to direct his movement, but it is later revealed that he was just a puppet. And the real Karim Farouk is still at large.
Oded Fehr is an Israeli actor who is known for his work in ‘The Mummy’, ‘The Mummy returns’, ‘Resident Evil: Apocalypse’ and ‘Resident Evil: Extinction’.
